Golden Hills Plantation
Drakes Branch, Virginia 23947 Situated back off the main road in a very private setting on 25 acres is a circa 1854 log cabin and the original barn with center stone fireplace. The fireplace is open on both sides serving the out kitchen and slave quarters. A fire in 2003 damaged the roof of the 1850 section and gutted the older section. The 1850 section with original logs has been saved with a full loft and new roof. The downstairs is one big room with the log walls exposed. Working well and septic on the premises ready for hook-up to the house. Click on link below for more information:

Built by the distinguished Bouldin family. The Bouldin's produced men and women who served the nation and commonwealth in many capacities. Pictures are available of the original house with the older section. This is waiting for the old house lover to come and restore both buildings.
